You probably already know how important it is to your health and your anti aging goals to ensure you stay hydrated. After all, body contains mostly water and it needs constant hydration to perform the way it should. Dehydration can occur when you don’t get enough water, which can lead to many medical problems. Being dehydrated on a regular basis can make you age faster as well, since it allows skin to dry out, making it more susceptible to wrinkles and lines. Without proper hydration, toxins can also build up in your body, which means that your body needs detox while you hydrate for the best results.

Of course, not only is it important that you get plenty of water, but you definitely need to be sure that you are taking in pure water. Many people have tap water that is full of toxins that can negatively impact your health. Even bottled water often contains dangerous chemicals. It is important to find quality, pure water that will not increase the toxins you are exposed to. Water is best able to carry out toxins from your body when it is pure, which allows it to help you detox while you hydrate.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to escape toxins. They are all around in the air you breathe, products you use, and even in most water supplies. However, if you don’t ensure that you hydrate your body enough so you can flush out those toxins, then the kidneys and liver have to work to harder, which can lead to the damage of these organs. By choosing to drink pure water, you can detox while you hydrate. Consuming pure water can improve health and can keep you looking younger too.

Water is well-known to be the universal solvent. There is no mineral that won’t dissolve in water. It is so important that even our bodies are made of about 55 to 78 percent water, depending on body weight. At present, pure water is converted into over ten types of drinking water available today; but in this article, we will focus on the five most popular forms.

1. Distilled water is cleansed water. It is water that had most of its impurities removed through the process of boiling then condensing the steam into another container. The condensed steam is used while the fluid left inside the old container is used for industrial purposes.
2. Water that has undergone the process of reverse osmosis involves a more difficult and lengthy process. Work is done on a microscopic level wherein pressure is applied to remove large molecules and icons from salt water. Reverse osmosis is commonly used to convert sea water into potable water.
3. Flavored water is pure water with added sweeteners. The sweeteners can be the natural or artificial flavors of herbs; and sometimes with the addition of vitamins and minerals from added fruit extracts. Compared to non-diet soft drinks, flavored water has fewer calories.
4. Mineral water is water containing minerals giving it a therapeutic value. Mineral water is usually taken directly from a flowing water source; for instance, a mineral spring. Although it still goes through a “cleaning” process, it still retains most of its naturally-occurring elements.
5. The newest addition to the types of drinking water is called alkaline. Alkaline water is ionized water. It usually has a pH balance of eight or more, making neither acidic nor neutral. Though relatively new, many believe that alkaline water has therapeutic tendencies because it helps neutralize the chemicals in the body. Official scientific reports, however, say that tests results are still inconclusive.

Different kinds of water have minute differences in taste. So if you are used to, say, mineral water and you shift to alkaline water, then there will be some adjustments to do. The point remains that whatever type of water it is, as long as it’s drinkable, it helps fight the aging effects of dehydration.

On a special note, younger-looking skin is well-moisturized skin brought about by the right and regular pure water intake.

More than likely, you’re using every method possible to slow down the aging process. However, all your anti aging efforts can be sabotaged if you aren’t drinking pure water. While you’ve probably heard about some of the dangers of drinking and using tap water, you may not realize that tap water could be making you age faster.

You may be surprised to find that most tap water has a chlorine level that is higher than recommended in swimming pools. Once you start bathing and showering in tap water that is highly chlorinated can end up stripping your skin of the protective oils. This leads to itching, scaling, and an imbalance of bacteria as well. Since the protective oils are stripped away from skin, it can lead to dryness and dry skin tends to age faster as well.

If you’re drinking the tap water instead of pure water, it means you’re putting all those chemicals in your body. Toxins in the body are known to advance the effects of aging as well. This means your body is getting hit on two fronts – on the outside and the inside.

The good news is that it’s easier and cheaper than ever to get the pure water that you need. Simply going with filters on your kitchen sink and on your showers is a great way to eliminate the chemicals and toxins that are in tap water. Most filters are inexpensive too. Whole house filters are also available, which can provide an easy way to get pure water through your entire home.

Pure water along with other anti aging methods can help you to avoid many of the problems that come with aging. Stop allowing your tap water to sabotage your anti aging program and find an inexpensive way to eliminate those chemicals so you have chemical free water to use and drink.

Water. You know it’s important to your health, but did you know that it’s important to your anti-aging program too? Dehydration is a common problem that people deal with, and if you’re not getting enough water, you could be causing yourself physical problems and shortening your life.

What can happen if you are not getting enough water? Well, dehydration has been linked to a variety of dangerous physical problems in recent studies. Heartburn, back pain, arthritis, angina, colitis, migraines, high blood pressure, asthma, high cholesterol, and even type 2 diabetes have all been linked to not getting enough water, and they are all problems that can occur when the body is trying to deal with severe dehydration.

How can you know if you are dehydrated? There are many signs that show you could be dehydrated. If you are feeling thirsty, this means you have already been dehydrated for some time. Signs of dehydration include yellow urine, dark urine, dry mucous membranes, stress, dry skin, fatigue, changes in blood pressure, and headaches.

Every single day, the body loses a lot of water. You lose water through exhaling, through bowel movements, sweating, and urinating. The water you lose has to be replaced.

To avoid dehydration and to make sure that your body gets what it needs to live younger longer, you need to be drinking about half of your body weight. Simply take your current weight, divide it in half, and that is the ounces of water you should be drinking on a daily basis. For example, if you are 150 pounds, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water. A 220 pound man should be drinking 110 ounces of water each day. In some cases, if you are more active or you live in a climate that is hot, you may need even more to stave off dehydration.

When you give your body the proper nutrients, exercise and clean water, you live younger longer while feeling your best.

Have some fun today,

This is a question worth pondering. Public Water supplies contain contaminants ranging from agricultural runoff to improper use of chemicals from households. Pollution, industry and farming chemicals are the biggest sources of these contaminants.

Chlorine and flouride are both added to most public water to kill disease-causing bacteria in the water or in transport pipes. This good intentioned act comes with its own price. Chlorine reacts with other naturally occurring elements and forms toxins called trihalomethanes.

Trihalomethanes are sources for a wide range of disease ranging from asthma, eczema, heart disease to bladder cancer. Some states are beginning to use ozone to purify water because of lowered side effect risk.

Many countries now are eliminating the use of flouride, for what was thought at one time as a prevention for cavities, because of side effects and toxicity.

Skin ages from both inside and outside. Internal factors include overall health, nutrition, toxins, water content, genetics and hormonal balance. External factors include sun and pollution.

Pure water is one of the basics to any anti-aging program. Contaminants and chlorine in your water will contribute to aging because water is the main factor to remove internal body toxins. If your are ingesting chemicals in your water, then cleansing becomes a challenge because you are replacing chemicals, not removing them.

Maintaining proper hydration, whether by drinking water cleaned by distillation, reverse osmosis, or ozonation, is essential for healthy and glowing skin. Your body can remove internal body toxins easily and provide proper cellular hydration if you provide it with plenty of pure water.

Don’t expect to “look good” if your body is full of toxins. After all, living young is all about eliminating as many toxins and chemicals in your indoor air, water, food, cosmetics and toiletries as possible. Once you’re on a program of avoiding those pollutants, your body will thank you by looking and feeling your very best.

Have a fun and successful day,

Alkalized water enhances the body’s anti-aging mechanism. You see, the body can create free radicals because of the various cell processes, including the elimination of its own wastes. These free radicals cause oxidative damage and prevent the proper function of proteins and molecules. Simply put, they can make you sick and increase the level of toxicity in your body – then you age rapidly.

When you eat a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, you have higher levels of antioxidants to decrease these toxins in your cells. Fruits and vegetables have a high water content also so they help you remain “moisturized”.

Anti-aging is just one of the growing number of benefits that you can get from alkalized water. It’s important that you strike a balance between acid and alkaline for good cellular health. However, because eating meats, dairy, cheese, sodas and a host of other popular foods, the body has a tendency to become acidic. To bring back a good balance of acid/alkaline, you need to drink alkaline water.

Today there are machines that can help convert acidic water into alkaline. Whichever you choice, try to make this part of your daily diet. Alkalized water doesn’t only satisfy your thirst, but provides better health by neutralizing these acids. It’s a small price to pay for living younger.

Have a fun and successful day,

In truth, not only should you be thinking twice about using that water straight out of your tap, you ought to be limiting your exposure to the chemicals found in nearly every municipal water source in the United States.

Chlorine and fluoride are routinely added to water in the name of protecting public health, but there are some things every person should know about the dangers of these two substances.

Chlorine is added to kill harmful bacteria such as typhoid, cholera and dysentery. That’s the good news. Sanitizing the drinking water allows industrialized countries to avoid these common diseases that plague other parts of the world.

The bad news is that chlorine reacts with other substances in our water, such as bits of animal and plant material, and creates trihalomethanes (THMs). THMs are known carcinogens.

Drinking chlorinated water containing THMs puts people at greater risk for urinary tract, kidney, and especially bladder cancer. Consuming chlorine is, unfortunately, not the only risk. Exposure to chlorine in showers and bath water allows the chemicals to enter the body through the skin. Some studies show that frequent swimming in chlorinated water increases the risk of bladder cancer by more than 50 percent.

Fluoride is added to tap water under the assumption that it promotes strong teeth and has other beneficial value to humans. The research on such claims is highly disputed. The facts show that drinking fluoridated water increases lead levels in children’s blood (lead exposure causes developmental problems), contributes to brittle bones in older people, and damages the brain. Some research even indicates that fluoride contributes to migraines, dementia and depression.

Many in the United States use fluoride toothpaste in addition to drinking fluoridated water, further increasing their exposure to this toxic chemical. The American Dental Association has done an excellent job of hiding the dangers of fluoride and convincing people that their teeth will be soft and cavity-prone without fluoridated water and fluoride toothpaste. The research simply does not back up their arguments.

So what can you do to protect yourself from chlorine and fluoride? First, quit drinking tap water. Use bottled water without added chlorine and fluoride, distilled water, or local spring water. For a more longterm fix, install a Brita or Pur faucet-mounted cabon filter that removes chlorine, fluoride and other chemicals. You could also use a Brita or Pur filter pitcher. Reverse osmosis units can be easily installed under your sink and can be purchased at a reasonable price. A good filter that can be easily screwed on your shower head is good added protection from many of these chemicals.

The ultimate solution is to install a whole-house water filtration system. These systems remove harmful contaminants before they ever come out of your tap. Each of these options is relatively inexpensive, yet provides peach of mind for you and your family.

Considering that aging well in part depends on your ability to rid the body of excess chemical waste, a small investment in prevention could pay large dividends for feeling and looking great at any age.

If you are experiencing aching joints, a lot of stress, diarrhea or constipation, or problems losing weight, you may have toxins that need to be cleansed from the system. The organs that deal with cellular waste management are your liver, the lymph glands, the kidneys, the lungs and the colon. To remain healthy and fit, experts agree that detoxification no less than once a year is recommended to maintain good health. The liver recycles, sorts and readies unwanted chemicals during the process of circulation.

Considering that there are many more chemicals in our air, food production, food preparation, and water than ever before, it becomes more important to remove these toxins on a regular basis. The lymph glands also play an important role in eliminating toxins. A network of tubing brings out the excess waste of the cells to the eliminating organs. The appendix, thymus, tonsils and spleen are the major lymphatic organs that help cleanse and detoxify the body.

The kidneys help in water management, keeping the good chemistry of the blood alkaline by eliminating the dissolved acid waste. If you drink purified water with lemon and alkaline juices on a regular basis, you will see positive results. The lungs help keep the blood air purified by allowing oxygen directly into the bloodstream. The lungs also remove waste gases that are found in the cells. Fresh air and deep breathing are both very helpful in keeping the lungs healthy and free of toxins. The colon is the solid waste management organ in the body.

Getting enough fiber as in fruits and vegetables can be a tough accomplishment for many people, but is absolutely essential for the colon to function properly. Colonics is another way to rid the body of waste and help maintain good colon health. Be sure and check with your doctor before you engage in this kind of detoxification to be on the safe side. Exercise such as walking is an effective way of maintaining good circulation and detoxification, and is accessible to even those who have precious little time left at the end of the day.
