Repair Your Skin’s DNA

istockphoto_6012460-face-creamYour face is one of the first places that begins to show your age. If you’re looking for an anti aging product that will really provide results and keep you looking young, then you’ll want to purchase products that work on your telomeres.

No doubt you’re wondering, what are telomeres? Well, they are what determine the length of skin cell life. They are attached to each DNA strand. Every time cells divide, the telomeres shorten, and as they become shorter, skin cells begin to age more. If the length of telomeres can be maintained, you can keep skin looking young.
The theory behind telomeres is Nobel Prize winning. The way that this theory is used in anti aging products is that products are being developed that actually work to maintain telomere length. When this length can be maintained, the aging process is slowed down.

As you work to repair the DNA of your skin, keeping the length of telomeres maintained, you can make skin softer, tone up sagging skin, and even eliminate wrinkles. Sun spots and aging spots can be eliminated as well. This provides a natural way that you can get the radiant, youthful skin that you really want.

So, telomeres can be your best friend when you want to anti age your face. Of course, don’t be fooled by products that say they contain telomeres. Skin care creams can’t contain telomeres. However, creams and other products can contain ingredients that help to preserve telomere length and turn back the hands of time so you can have skin that looks beautiful and young.

Have a fun and beautiful day,

How Does Deep Breathing Help You Live Younger

Tuesday, February 16th, 2010

Yoga 1If you are looking for ways that you can stay younger, you may want to add some deep breathing to your anti-agi Yoga 1ng program. You can deep breathe younger, but many people do not realize how important deep breathing is to your body keeping it as young as possible.

Oxygen is important to the body and the best way that you can get more oxygen into your cells is to do some deep breathing.  When you breathe deeply it oxygenates your system, and also facilitates exhaling more carbon dioxide.  Deep breathing helps to massage the stomach, liver, heart and other organs, keeping them healthy and young.

When you deep breathe younger, the deep breaths helps stimulate your lymph system and improves blood flow.  Increased blood flow and a healthy lymph helps eliminate more toxins from your body.  Toxins are known to make you age more quickly, so deep breathing can help help you to stay looking and feeling younger longer.

Deep breathing is a great stress reliever.  When you breathe deeply, you clear your lungs, increases mind focus, and the body relaxes and lets go of stress.  Stress is a huge factor when it comes to aging so small steps can provide large benefits.

When you take four deep, deep breaths and hold for a count of six or seven, then exhale and you’ll see how this one exercise can make such a difference.  When you oxygenate your cells, eliminate toxins and stress, you’ll then notice how young and radiant your skin looks as a result.

Have a fun and successful day,
